Silicone oil clutch

Silicone oil fan clutch uses silicone oil as the medium and uses the shear force of silicone oil to transfer the torque. The speed of the fan is designed to ensure that the engine does not overheat under the worst operating conditions. Therefore, the speed of the fan should be controlled within the appropriate range in the normal driving process of the vehicle, so as to reduce the noise and improve the engine economy. For engine-driven fans, a fan clutch is usually used to control the speed. There is a viscous fluid (silicone oil) in the clutch, and the torque is transferred by its shear force.
